He was Bad.  He was Untouchable.  His swift dance moves tapped your soul.  He rocked. He stopped crowds, wowing them with his music and moves.  On this day, June 25, 2010, Michael Jackson is missed and honored around the world.  The King of Pop died one year ago at his Los Angeles home of cardiac arrest.  Fans remember him – saying his music lives forever.

“Michael Jackson, was one of the greatest entertainers that ever lived,” said Carla McClain of Memphis, Tennesee. “It’s amazing to me,  despite the controversy that surrounded him,  that it is evident he is greatest musician of all time.  I don’t know what else to say. That’s what comes to my mind when I think about him.”

“I love Michael Jackson’s music to this very day. I grew up watching him during the Motown sounds and  each time I hear his music, I am moved,” said Curtis Moses of  Washington, DC.

“Michael Jackson is a legendary great.  His music is unbelievable.  To this day when you listen to it – the songs sound as if they’re still number one hits.  Michael was a genius,” Denise Rhine of Houston, Texas expressed.

“I remember when I was a child and Michael was the best performer I ever knew about.  I went on to istene to his music  throughout high school and the older I got he just kept getting bigger and bigger.  “This past year went by so fast – it’s still unbelievable that he’s gone.  He was an icon,”  said Wendell Betton of St. Louis , Missouri.

“I think Michael Jackson represents excellence.  There’s no musician like him.   Even the second of his hand movements is calculated, or the way he turned his head or his foot at the end of his moves were  just awesome.  He was loving and kind.  I just think he is the greatest.  He is the standard when it comes to music  and entertainment,”  said Sherri Green of Little Rock, Arkansas.

“Barry Gordy discovered the world’s greatest entertainer in Michael Jackson,”  expressed Alisa Watts of Edgewater, New Jersey.

Micheal Jackson was dedicated to his music and fans.  He leaves behind loving family, friends, and faithful fans.

“I think it’s important to give the best way I can – through song, dance and music.  I am committed to my art.  I feel I was chosen as an instrument to give harmony to the world.”
