R&B international icon Karyn White was honored Sunday night with a prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 Records and Radio Awards, held at Backstage in Atlanta, Georgia. White, a two-time Grammy nominee known for timeless hits such as Superwoman and Romantic, was also presented with an official Proclamation from the City of Atlanta, recognizing her decades of achievements in the music industry and her continued service to the community since the 1980s.
“It is truly an honor to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to the 2025 Records and Radio Awards for recognizing this milestone in my career,” said Karyn White. “This journey has been extraordinary, and I’m deeply grateful to the City of Atlanta for its recognition, and to my incredible fans for their unwavering love and support throughout the years.”
The Records and Radio Awards was founded by music industry influencer Debbie Ireland more than 20 years ago. The Awards ceremony celebrates both current and legendary figures in music, radio, and community leadership. The event honors those who have made lasting contributions and dedicated their lives to advancing culture and service.
